Good morning š I canāt even begin to believe that Iām already this far along and that baby is getting closer every single day! Itās starting to really feel more real for both Thomas & I. We are getting so excited for Baby Tās arrival! Yes, his name starts with a T but weāre keeping it a surprise! We actually had boy & girl names picked out before we even knew the gender, so itās been so fun to call him by his name!
So, I never did a Charleston recap because we didnāt get the chance to go to half the places we wanted to go! But it was so worth it, because we spent so much time with my college friends and doing lots of wedding stuff! It was the best trip, and I already loved Charleston, but Thomas fell in love and wants to visit at least once a year! Hereās the short version, we stayed at the Vendue, and it was INCREDIBLE. Definitely a little pricey, but if youāre okay spending a little more, then I HIGHLY suggest it, we were obsessed!
I will share some favorite food highlights in case you ever go, but there are SO MANY places to eat and our list was a mile long. We definitely have to go back to hit everything!
-Leonās Oyster Bar: such a cute atmosphere and a fun dinner, also would be awesome for lunch! also, the fried chicken sandwich and brussels are amazing.
-Minero: best guacamole and chips Iāve ever had & they brought the chips out in the cutest bag!
-Black Tap Coffee: IĀ got an iced latte & it was phenomenal in every way, I wish we had were able to get this everyday we were there!
-Callieās Hot Little Biscuit- the line was long, but the biscuit was freshly baked and really yummy! I got the sausage, egg and cheese.
It was such a fun trip, but once we got home I realized how exhausted I was and that I was ready to stay put for awhile. We walked so much, and I could definitely feel it, especially since baby was getting heavier. So now weāve been home and Iāve been loving it. Maybe Iām feeling ready for some nesting before little guy comes. Iāve been taking advantage of our town too, like the farmerās market! Itās my favorite, and they do it all year long but itās been so cold. Itās still been cold, but my sister and I are making it a routine to go every Saturday together, with her daughter Harper. Itās been so fun and makes me SO EXCITED for some fresh spring produce, lots of berries, warm weather, and sunshine. Weāre almost there!
We also spent St. Patrickās Day with my sister, brother-in-law, Harper (my niece), and myĀ Mama! There was a huge festival going on outside of Thomas & Iās apartment so we walked through their and then walked to The Veil (our favorite brewery). We love that place, they have the best IPAās! Harper tried her first Perfect Bar which was the cutest thing Iāve ever seen. She definitely loved it, and I donāt blame her! Canāt wait to feed Baby T fun things when he gets older. Also, this is a picture of Thomas holding Harper. Iām seriously so grateful, because this guy is going to be the BEST dad! He absolutely loves kids and I canāt wait to watch him with ours. Makes my heart melt already.

As far as food favorites recently: pretty much anything that includes banana & pb, egg sandwiches with avocado & scallion cream cheese (this is the best combo of all time), egg and avocado toast with sriracha (Iāve had this like 4 days in a row!), and then pizza. But always pizza! We still havenāt found our favorite pizza in Richmond, so we are going to make it at home more often because I request it at least once a week!
I have noticed recently that eating more smaller, more frequent meals is SUPER HELPFUL. Baby is starting to take up a lot of space and I get full so much faster. Itās so weird, because Iām usually all about big meals, but itās apart of intuitive eating to really listen to what my body needs. Right now, thatās small and frequent! Otherwise, my stomach feels like there is so much pressure, and itās not very comfortable.

As far as my body, Iām feeling pretty good and Iām so grateful! I havenāt had as many backaches as before, so thatās a blessing. Iāve actually found walking and pure barre have helped ease that pain a lot. Iāve also been LOVING baths with epsom salts and essential oils! SO NICE. Iāve been loving these all of pregnancy! I recently started taking Cal-Mag (calcium magnesium) at night before bed and I think itās helping with myĀ aches and also helping me sleep! I actually havenāt had a hard time with sleep, except for a couple nights. I am up every few hours either going to the bathroom or readjusting, but I canāt complain. So those have been some top favorites recently.
Iām officially in the 3rd trimester, which is crazy! Iāve definitely noticed that my belly is DEFINITELY bigger and much heavier haha. I also struggle to go up stairs without breathing very heavily. I had my 28 week checkup and had my gestational diabetes test, and thank goodness, Iām negative! Also, all my numbers look great and baby is doing great, so Iām beyond thankful!
Thatās all for now, hope you all have a great day today š
