Hi! This is Thomas and I am sharing my favorite crockpot beef bone broth recipe. I have been drinking my homemade beef bone broth for years and its my absolute favorite, now its time to share. An interesting fact about me, just ask Lex, I could eat soup for breakfast even in the dead of summer. I guess its the warm broth that I just love so much! Bone broth is more than comforting it includes so many beneficial nutrients that are gut healing to name one. Broth is my green drink! Ingredients
2-3bonesbeef bones
3-4largecarrots
3-4stalks ofcelery
1yellow onioncut in half & peeled
8cupsfiltered water
1½tsp sea salt
1tspblack pepper
½tspgarlic powder
1bay leaf
1tspapple cider vinegar
2-3 sprigsfresh rosemary
½lemon squeezed
Instructions
Turn on crockpot to low setting and add beef bones.
Next, add in the onions, carrots, celery, fresh rosemary, filtered water, lemon, apple cider vinegar and all of the seasoning.
Cover and let sit for 12-24 hours.
Once cooked, pour through a strainer so you're getting just the broth. Separate into mason jars and freeze any unused broth.
To drink, warm on the stovetop, sip and enjoy!
Notes
For Storing: Store in the fridge in a mason jar for up to a week.
