Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs sirloin cut into bite size pieces
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • 2-3 tbsp butter
  • 3-4 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 ½ tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika optional
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped for garnish

Instructions

  • Pat the steak dry with paper towels and season with salt, pepper, and paprika (if using).
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak cubes in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Remove skillet and set aside.
  • In a separate small pot, heat to medium and melt the butter. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds, stirring frequently to avoid burning.
  • Pour the garlic butter sauce over the steak bites. Make sure the steak is coated in the sauce. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

For Storing: Store in airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days.
For the Crockpot Version:
Cut steak into 1–1½ inch cubes and season generously with salt, pepper, and paprika (if using). Place the steak pieces into the slow cooker. Add minced garlic, a splash of beef broth, and a few tablespoons of butter cut into pieces over the top.
Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours, until the steak bites are tender and cooked through. Low will give you the best tenderness.
About 20 minutes before serving, stir everything together so the steak gets coated in the garlic butter sauce. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Finish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
Tip: Sirloin works great for this recipe because it stays tender in the slow cooker without becoming overly fatty.
