Whipped Feta Lamb Sliders
These American lamb sliders are the perfect recipe for a summer grilling party. A fun & easy recipe for any night! We don’t cook with American Lamb enough, but it’s a nutrient powerhouse! Ground lamb is an easy way to get started with lamb & it’s what we used for this recipe! - 1 lb ground lamb
- ¼ yellow onion, diced
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp oregano
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp black pepper
Whipped Feta
- 4 oz feta
- ¼ plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ lemon, juiced
- sea salt, taste
Toppings
- pickled onions
- arugula
- whipped feta
For the Sliders:
Add the ground lamb to the mixing bowl. Then add in the seasonings & chopped onions. Mix and form patty. (Smaller size for sliders)
Preheat grill to 450 degrees. Cook for 5-6 min on each side. USDA recommends an internal temp of 145F degrees with a 3 min rest!
For the Whipped Feta:
In a food processor or blender, add all ingredients & blend until creamy!
For Serving: Plate sliders with buns, whipped feta, pickled onions & arugula. USDA recommends the following time and temperature parameters. Internal temperature of 145°F, with a 3 minute rest. Enjoy!
