What you need to make these garlic butter steak bites + substitutions:
- Steak– Use high-quality steak like sirloin, ribeye, or filet mignon for tenderness. Tough, lean cuts like brisket, chuck roast, round steak, and flank steak don’t work well for steak bites because they require slow cooking to become tender. Avoid meats that are too chewy or fibrous, as they won’t sear properly or stay juicy in a quick-cook recipe.
- Salted Butter- We prefer grass-fed butter but any butter works. We’ve been buying the Kirkland grass-fed butter from Costco, but we also love Kerrygold.
- Garlic- The fresh garlic infuses the steak with a bold, aromatic flavor.
- Sea Salt- Essential for bringing out the natural flavors of the beef. We use Redmond sea salt, it’s our favorite and we use it in everything! You can use the code daddioskitchen for 15% off. We get the big big bag! 🙂
- Black pepper- Adds a mild heat and enhances the overall seasoning.
- Italian Parsley (garnish)– Parsley adds a fresh, vibrant touch to steak bites, enhancing their rich flavors with a hint of herbal brightness.
