Servings 6 people

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sliced thin
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • 2-3 cups broccoli
  • 1 tsp sea salt more to taste
  • 1 tsp black pepper

For the Sauce:

  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil or avocado oil
  • 2-3 cloves fresh garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp honey

For Topping:

  • sesame seeds
  • sriracha
  • green onions chopped

Instructions

  • Make your sauce by combining ingredients and set aside.
  • Heat a large skillet, add about 2 tbsp water. Pour in the chopped broccoli and mix it around until it's warm. Then cover with a lid and let it steam for about 3-5 minutes until tender. Remove broccoli from the pan.
  • In the same pan, add in the avocado oil and get hot. Add in the beef and season with salt and pepper. Sear for about 2-3 minutes and then pour in the sauce. Cook until the beef is cooked through, mixing around.
  • Add the broccoli back to the skillet and give it a good stir. Let it cook on low together for a few minutes so the flavors can marry.
  • Serve over preferred rice or without. Add green onions, sesame seeds, and sriracha for added flavor. Enjoy!

Notes

Storing: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. Reheat in a skillet with a splash of water to keep the sauce saucy.
