Basically like a block of peanut butter filled with the perfect touch of sweetness and chocolate chips. AKA my favorite. Incredibly easy to make. Very few ingredients. Takes approximately 5-10 minutes. Perfect little snack or sweet treat whenever you need one! Enjoy!!
Ingredients:
-1 cup peanut butter (or any nut/ seed butter)
-1/4 cup maple syrup (or honey)
-1 tbsp coconut oil (or ghee), melted
-1 tsp vanilla extract
-pinch of sea salt
-1/2 cup chocolate chips (mini work great)
Directions:
Melt coconut oil or ghee and let cool a little bit. In a medium bowl mix together peanut butter, maple syrup, coconut oil, vanilla extract, and sea salt. Once well combined, fold in the chocolate chips. Press the mixture into a 9×5 loaf pan. I like to line mine with a little parchment so it’s easy to pull out. THIS is my favorite pan for all things baking!
Place in the freezer for 20-30 minutes to harden. Once hardened, pull out and cut into squares. I usually get around 21, but you can make them smaller or bigger! Store in a closed container in the freezer and enjoy straight from the freezer anytime!

Do you recommend non-sweetened (runny) peanut butter for these? Yum!
Hi Morgan! Yes, I used Costco organic peanut butter (which is just peanuts & salt). I think it works best that way 🙂
OMG making these right now!
Ah yay! I hope you love them!
