Chocolate Chip Toffee Cookies

Not much makes me happier than a fresh batch of chocolate chip cookies. I’ve made this recipe 3 times now & have been told they are my best ones yet so we’re sticking with it! If you need a go to chocolate chip cookie recipe, I’m telling you these are the ones! You can always skip the toffee and double the chocolate, but the toffee does add a fun caramel-y taste! Enjoy ๐Ÿ™‚

Ingredients:

-1 cup butter, room temp
-1 1/2 cups sugar
-2 eggs, room temp
-2 tsp vanilla extract
-3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
-1 tsp sea salt
-1 tsp baking soda
-1 1/2 cup chocolate chips
-1 cup chopped toffee

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, mix butter & sugar with a hand mixer. Add in the eggs & vanilla. Donโ€™t over beat, just get them incorporated. Add in the flour, salt, & baking soda. Mix until all together. add in chocolate chips & toffee & using a wooden spoon (or your hands) get them all mixed in!

Either spray or line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Roll cookies into balls & bake for 9-12 minutes depending on your oven! I had to do 3 batches in the oven because it makes a lot!ย Just keep an eye on them, andย  I like mine a little more underdone so I usually lean toward 10ish minutes. Let cool!

*The recipe makes about 24-30 cookies so you can cut it in half if you donโ€™t want so many! Or you can freeze half the dough to pull out and make cookies anytime. Or just make them all & eat them like we did because they won’t last long!

  1. These were really good. I used half brown sugar and half granulated. Will be making again!
