Edible Cookie Dough


I mean, what is possibly better? I asked you guys on Instagram if you preferred cookie dough or the actual baked cookie & cookie dough won hands down! So I made you edible cookie dough for you cooking dough eating pleasure! ENJOY!


-1 cup flour

-1/2 cup butter, room temperature

-1/2 cup white sugar

-1/4 cup brown sugar

-1 tsp vanilla

-1/4 tsp sea salt

-1.5- 2 tbsp milk (2 will make it softer)

-1/2 cup chocolate chips


Preheat oven to 350F degrees. Spread 1 heaping cup of flour onto a rimmed baking sheet. Spread it out and bake it in the oven for 8-10 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160F degrees. Using a hand mixer, in a medium mixing bowl, beat together butter & sugars. Add in the vanilla, sea salt, and milk. (I did 1 tbsp). Add in the cooled 1 cup of flour. Mix until everything is incorporated. Fold in chocolate with a spatula. Enjoy!

You can eat it at room temperature or from the fridge! I personally love mine from the fridge. Because there isn’t any egg, the recipe can dry out easily. If you want to enjoy it straight from the fridge, I’d suggest 2 tbsp of milk. If you would rather it room temperature, I’d go for more like 1-1.5 tbsp!

Freezes for up to 2 months!
