Asian Turkey Lettuce Cups

This is one of those meals that is SO simple to make and loaded with flavor. Which are my favorite kind of meals to cook personally. Especially on a weeknight! These would also be great leftover to take lunch on the go! You could totally do ground beef or chicken too, they’re super versatile. These will definitely be on repeat over here!


-1 lb ground turkey

-1 yellow onion, diced

-5 green onions, chopped

-2 garlic cloves, chopped

-1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced

-1/4 cup hoisin sauce

-2 tbsp soy sauce

-1 tbsp rice wine vinegar

-2 tsp sesame oil

-avocado oil

-sea salt & pepper


Heat a large skillet with avocado oil. Add the ground turkey and season with salt & pepper. Cook until cooked through, and then remove the turkey from pan and set aside.

To the same pan, add in the yellow onion & cook down for a few minutes until it softens on medium heat. Add in the garlic and ginger and stir for a few minutes. Season with salt & pepper. Add the turkey back in, and mix everything together. Next, add the hoisin, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, & sesame oil. Stir together & add in green onions. Cook on low for a few more minutes & then it’s done!

Serve the turkey mixture over bibb lettuce and rice! Add a little drizzle of sriracha to the top for some heat. Enjoy!
