Healthy Skincare Regimen for Men

When it comes to skincare, most of the focus tends to be on women, but men’s skincare is just as important. In recent years, more and more men have started taking care of their skin, and companies like Primally Pure exist to nourish your skin the healthy way!

Primally Pure is a company that specializes in all-natural skincare products. Their products are free of harmful chemicals and synthetic fragrances, making them ideal for anyone with sensitive skin. In this blog post, we’ll take a look at my skincare regimen using Primally Pure products. (P.S. I have used these products for nearly 5 years now!) Some of the names changed over the years but I think its safe to say I am 100% committed and stand by the product!

My Skincare Routine:

Step 1: Cleanse

The first step in any skincare regimen is cleansing and I use the cleansing oil (normal skin). This age-old method of cleansing effectively purifies + nourishes the skin while keeping its natural moisture barrier in-tact. I apply a dime size amount of oil to my hands and rub in gently on my face. I end my oil cleanse with a warm/hot wet towel resting over my face for 30-45 seconds. I then roll the wash cloth up and very gently alternating the ends brush the oil away.

Step 2: Moisturize

Moisturizing is an important step in any skincare regimen, as it helps hydrate and protect the skin from environmental stressors. Moisturizing cannot be over emphasized and using quality ingredients will yield the best results. I use the soothing cream in the morning and night and have never had an issue with my face drying.

Step 3: Tone

After cleansing, it’s important to use a toner to balance the skin’s pH levels and prepare it for the next steps in the regimen. Primally Pure’s plumping mist provides instant hydration and naturally plump skin. “Aloe vera, glycerin and rose hydrosol support cell renewal and stimulate hyaluronic acid production in the skin for a vibrant, dewy complexion.” I use this in the morning and night.

Step 3: Beard Oil

If you maintain any type of facial hair then you must use a beard oil! It is often overlooked because the facial hair covers the face. However, it is important to moisturize deep into the skin and nourish and hydrate your facial hair. Ingrown hairs are many times the result of not taming your hair and giving it the proper nourishment. I use the mojito scent because the peppermint smells nice.

Step 4: Serums (It’s not a part of my current daily routine but thinking it should be)

Serums are concentrated formulas that are designed to target specific skin concerns, like fine lines, wrinkles, or hyperpigmentation. “A few drops deliver firmer, more vibrant skin. Pomegranate seed oil and castor oil intensely hydrate and stimulate collagen synthesis while green coffee oil and astaxanthin create a dramatic difference in elasticity and skin tone, leaving skin with a dewy, youthful glow.”

Step 5: Plumping Mask (I use a few times a month)

A mask is a great option for men who want to improve the texture and clarity of their skin. It’s made with a blend of active botanicals infuses skin with hydration and increases elasticity and firmness with potent antioxidants and vitamins C, A and E. Rose hydrosol, rosehip seed oil and rose kaolin clay offer benefits to brighten discoloration from sun damage, decrease the appearance of fine lines and maintain skin’s natural moisture levels.

Final thoughts:

As I mentioned before I have used these products for nearly 5 years. I don’t see myself ever changing unless they sell and the ingredients change. That would be terrible. It is really not complicated for me and the products last for several months before replacing. A little can go a long way.

I whole heartedly stand by these products, but keep in mind I firmly believe in three things for healthy skin. First, sweat from working out is good for releasing toxins and is a must for healthy skin. Secondly, you must stay hydrated as a lack of hydration will directly coincide with dry skin. Alcohol is a quick way to dry out your skin even if you do not want to hear it. Thirdly, moisturize, moisturize and moisturize.

More products I recommend 🙂

  2. Professor Edward J. Fuzzworthy’s all natural beard and shampoo bar

  2. Great to hear about your consistent and positive experience with Primally Pure skincare products! Your detailed routine using their cleansing oil, soothing cream, and plumping mist seems effective and straightforward. By the way, have you considered checking out Clear Within for Primally Pure products? I recently found some fantastic discounts for the store at EMUCoupon. It could be a budget-friendly way to continue your skincare journey. What’s been the most noticeable change in your skin since incorporating these products into your routine, and do you have any other go-to skincare tips for maintaining healthy skin?

    • Hi Hannah, we are not familiar with clear within for Primally Pure. I’v been using now for many years now and dont see any reason to change unless they change the ingredients. The product is really good and for me its so simple and requires a little product. It can be expensive at first but for me I can go 4-5 months before I buy new products. Maybe only the beard oil like 3 months. But that is still worth it for me. My skin is honestly a thousands times more better. Better moisturized clear and healthy. I use to have dry skin and the chemical formulas were too strong on my skin, even the ones that claimed to be sensitive.
